These are the protocols placed by the state of Kentucky that we have to adhere to in order to operate safely during the pandemic. If you have any questions or concerns prior to your appointment, please email your questions to: highbrowartistry@gmail.com
First things first, please come alone. According to the state mandate, our space inside Highbrow Artistry is big enough to accomodate one guest. Highbrow Artistry is located near the Fayette Mall, and countless other shops. If you choose to ride along with a friend, there are plenty of places for your plus one to spend time.
In order to enter the building, and during your procedure at highbrow, you will need to wear a mask. According to the CDC the best mask is at least three layers thick. FACESHIELDS ALONE ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you do not have a mask, or your mask is not adequate, one will be provided for you. As much as we could all use a hug right now, we must limit our physical contact. This means handshaking, high fives- low fives, and hugs are not deemed “safe” at this time… air fives, however, are totally acceptable. Due to the nature of the work done at Highbrow Artistry, the social distancing mandate of 6ft apart cannot always be adhered. During times when this is not possible (i.e during your procedure) please refrain from unnecessary conversation. During the procedure, in addition to following OSHA safety guidelines, your artist will also be wearing a face shield, wearing double masks, sleeve guards, disposable apron, as well as gloves.
